Why this matters
A deployment can leave a public page reachable while changing how search engines should index or attribute it. A page may still return HTTP 200 even when its canonical link or noindex directive has changed.
What WebCheck can do
A content hash can identify that the complete server response changed, and a stable required or forbidden text assertion can watch for a deliberately chosen phrase. These checks do not isolate or interpret canonical and noindex tags.
Use the right tool for the scope
WebCheck is suitable for repeatedly checking explicit production pages for operational response changes. NOTABIS SEO is the broader tool for crawling a site, inspecting canonical and indexability signals and producing an SEO audit.
Important limitation
A focused WebCheck page check cannot prove that every URL has the correct canonical or indexability directive. It also does not measure rankings or guarantee how a search engine will interpret a page.
